OUR STORY

Bed and Breakfast Barco Mediceo is the result of the dynamism of the couple Lorenzo Federico Tesi and Cassia Mara Campardo. Lorenzo is an administrator, graduated from the university of business economics and, above all, an authentic Tuscan who knows, appreciates and preserves local traditions. Cassia Mara is a dentist with improvement in several universities, a Brazilian who carries in the blood the inheritance of her Italian ancestors who emigrated to Brazil in 1888. From this alliance came the idea of preserving a beautiful space in Tuscany and opening its doors to visitors who seek to know this Italian region that fascinates everyone

OUR CITY

The territory of Carmignano offers, under the eno-gastronomic profile, an important production of Chianti wine. You can visit the wineries and enjoy the tasty and unequaled productions: "Carmignano DOCG", "Barco Reale DOC" and "Ruspo di Carmignano". B&B Barco Mediceo is located in this region, on the Chianti wine road of Carmignano.

All the senses are valued, but the palate is privileged by the immense variety of eno-gastronomic options at its availability. There is excellent production of extra virgin olive oil, extracted on the property of Barco Mediceo. Another great example of good Tuscan taste is the local tradition of producing salamis, ham, cheese, dried figs and the delicious almond biscuits, true delights that are savored with the "Santo Vino", admiring the landscape of the Tuscan hills. Prove and find out why it is impossible to resist.
